MRS JOYCE ANG

Mrs Joyce Ang is currently the Principal of Paya Lebar Methodist Girls’ School (Primary) and a core educator member of SPEN. Prior to this posting, she was the principal of Da Qiao Primary School from 2014 to 2018 before it merged with Jin Shan Primary School in 2019. She brought Da Qiao Primary School to the forefront of the Positive Education movement by organising the inaugural Positive Education Symposium (SymPosEd 2017) which brought many like-minded educators together. The school’s parting gift to the education fraternity before its merger was the Positive Education Learning Festival it organised in 2018 to share its best practices. At PL, she continues her Positive Education journey to deepen student well-being by leveraging the school’s HEART values, DNA of Joyfulness and common languages to align shared beliefs and practices.
