Pang Choon How

Mr Pang Choon How is the Principal of Hwa Chong Institution. He formerly served as the Director of Mother Tongue Languages, Curriculum Planning and Development Division, Ministry of Education (MOE) and also as the Principal of Chung Cheng High School (Main).  Mr Pang took up a Public Service Commission Scholarship to read Chinese Language and Literature at Peking University. He was conferred a Masters of Arts at the National University of Singapore (NUS). He graduated with a Distinction at the National Institute of Education’s Post-Graduate Diploma in Education (Secondary) course.

 

Mr Pang has a strong interest in bilingualism and biculturalism. He co-translated the book “The Art of Travel” by Swiss-born British writer Alain de Botton and was invited to be a column writer for Lianhe Zaobao from 2012 to 2015. Mr Pang serves as a committee member of the Business China - Go East and the Promote Mandarin Council.
