Title of Session: Building Resilient Teachers for Resilient Students
Much has been discussed about resilience in students and its benefits. However, education leaders often overlook the life and work challenges fellow educators face, and how they must first practise resilience before they start preaching it. This workshop will focus on the Hardiness theory of resilience. Examples from this speaker's teaching journey will be shared. Finally, a real life case study will be discussed and participants will attempt to apply their new found knowledge into the case.
